Aqua Logistics has supplied the marine and offshore industry from Singapore since 1989. Our own range covers doors, hatches, windows and scuttles, and we engineer and trade a wider range of shipboard systems and outfitting to the specification each project requires.
What we do
Measured against the supply records behind our track record, the business divides into four.
Outfitting and hull fittings are the largest at close to a third of supplied value: water, weather and gas-tight doors, hatches and manholes, hydraulic sliding doors and hatches, windows, scuttles and wipers, and accommodation doors and panelling.
Instrumentation and monitoring accounts for about a fifth — level gauges, switches and transmitters, cargo and tank monitoring, valve remote control and fixed gas sampling systems, supplied for the principals we represent.
Marine valves and strainers, pipes and fittings, and anchor chain and mooring equipment together make up a further fifth.
Service and repair is about a tenth of the total and growing: refurbishment of doors, hatches, hydraulic sliding doors and outfit items in service, commissioning and testing, and the management of complete outfitting packages for shipyards and owners.
How we work
Equipment is engineered to the requirements of each project rather than supplied from a standard catalogue. Our engineering staff combine long experience in the industry with current design practice, and the standards referenced throughout this site describe the specifications we are equipped to work to.
Aqua Logistics does not hold class approvals directly. Type approvals are held by our principals, and unit certificates are raised per project to the classification society the work requires: ABS, DNV, BV, NK, LR, CCS, RMRS, CR or Tasneef.
Quality
Certified to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management.
We also hold two Singapore national accreditations: bizSAFE Level 4 from the Workplace Safety and Health Council, covering our workplace safety and health management system, and the Cyber Essentials mark under CSA Cybersecurity Certification, registered for the provision of equipment and services to the marine and offshore industry.
Reach
From Singapore we serve South East Asia, India, the Middle East, Europe and South America, on newbuild programmes, conversions and repair projects. Our service teams work regularly at shipyards and berths in Malaysia and Indonesia.
