Electro-hydraulic watertight sliding doors and hatches for cargo, passenger and offshore vessels, supplied with the power pack, controls and bridge panel as one package.
A sliding door goes where a hinged door will not: at the foot of a bulkhead, in a passageway that has to stay clear, or anywhere the door has to shut against a head of water on a command from the bridge. The construction is deliberately simple, the drive has a long service record behind it, and if the ship loses power the door can still be closed by hand pump from either side of the bulkhead.
